On April 24, the all-Ukrainian project «Islam Culture Day» visited the Krolevets community (Sumy region).
The solemn event was attended by representatives of the municipal authorities, cultural and educational institutions, students, youth, and all interested residents of Krolevets. Imam Yunus and imam Rashid familiarized the audience with Muslim culture and traditions, foundation of the Faith, and the main rituals of Islam, dispelling many misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
Throughout the day, exhibition locations were open at the Krolevets Cultural Center, allowing for a deeper immersion into Muslim life: historical materials, household items and attributes of Muslims, Islamic literature and ancient Qur'an, traditional clothing, and oriental cuisine.
Islam is a religion of peace and kindness. And Muslims are friendly and open to communication.
The goals of the «Islam Culture Days» project are:
- • to convey the truth about Islam to the citizens of our country.
- • to provide an opportunity to distract from the war, immerse in the atmosphere of Eastern countries while being in Ukraine.
We pray to God for peace to come so that we can work even more extensively for the benefit of our society.
